AN INVITING GUESTHOUSE

This Hunts Point guest cottage built by Lawton Builder's, Inc, is so cozy looking, it makes you wonder if guests ever want to leave? At about 1,200 square feet, this cottage is as adorable on the inside as it is on the outside, thanks to hand-scraped hardwood floors, exposed reclaimed timbers, distressed custom cabinets, heated tile floors in the bathroom, distressed knotty alder doors and two full bedroom suites with full baths, all in a French country style. "The homeowner wanted it to look like it had been there for years," said Stanley Lawton, president of Lawton Builders, Inc. of Renton.
